Step 1:  Who are you?

In order to best understand what is best for you, it is important to know your self.  Complete the personality test below to get an idea of your personality.  This is ONLY a tool to self reflect about your personality.  It does NOT specifically define your individual personality.  DON'T assume this is 100% accurate for you specifically, but use this information as a guideline to better understand your self.

Step 2:  Sharing who you are?

Afer you have reflected on the information from the personality test, discuss the results with someone who you trust will provide you honest feedback.  When discussing the information with someone who is part of your support system complete the following:

1.  On a sheet of paper, write down the following at the top of the paper:

      Personality Category             Agree               Degree

2.  On the same sheet of paper, write down the following on the left side of the paper:

The eight different categories that are identified on the test(Introduction, Strength & Weaknesses, and        etc.

3.  Share each result with the other person in your support system.

4.  Put an 'x' under the column that the other person states if they agree or disagree with the results of the       personality test.

5.  Discuss with the other person, the items that are selected as 'disagree'.

6.  On the back of the same paper, make a note of the reasons the other person disagree with the results.

Step 3:  How do you learn?

In order to best understand what is the best support we need to provide, it is important to know your learning style.  Complete the self-directed learning survey to get an idea of how we can support your academic goals. (Self Directed Learning - Dr. Maurice Gibbons)
